Simple Way to Create Profitable Facebook Adverts

If you do business in 2023, you must have tried to get into the social media space.

Consequently, you must have heard of Facebook and Instagram marketing.

The thing is, when you talk of social media marketing, Facebook is at the forefront.

That s because Facebook has an incredible number of daily users.

If you merged that with the audience of Instagram, another social media platform owned by Facebook, you see that the numbers are just outrageous.

That means it is much easier for you to start and grow a business on the Internet today.

Without requiring a physical shop, a huge start-up capital, and a lot of those complicated things that come with starting up a business.

A business does require customers to stay in business.

These customers are what we have termed as audience today.

So, how do you easily get a truckload of audience flowing to your newly started business?

Or even an existing one?

You want to scale your business.

Here’s the simple most effective answer.

Facebook and Instagram ADs.

Well, you know why already.

It is very easy to reach people these days.

But, while it is easy to set up Facebook and Instagram ADs, if you don’t know how easy it is, I have a tutorial here for you.

People still struggle to get tangible results from running Facebook and Instagram ADs.

Why does this happen, you wonder.

Here’s why.

Admittedly, it is one of the easiest ways to grow an audience only, but some of these things aren’t as straightforward as they’d seem from looks.

You have to put a few things in place, properly.

So, here’s the thing.

I will tell you why your Facebook and Instagram ADs don’t work if you run them.

If you never did run a campaign before, here’s a beginner’s guide for you.

Start here.

5 Top Reasons Why Your Facebook Ads Are Doing Badly.

  • Audience Targeting.
  • AD Creatives.
  • Offers.
  • The Product.
  • Clear CTA.

Audience Targeting.

One of the biggest mistakes people make, when they run an advert on Facebook, is that they don’t get the targeting right.

Thing is, targeting is everything when you are running an ad.

Because you just don’t want your products to get to everyone because they could never get to everyone.

You have to know the people who need your products.

You have to know where they are.

You have to know why they need your products, etc.

You can know all these properly by carrying out a little research and drawing a simple customer avatar.

Also, people think that the more people their ad reaches, then the more sales they make.

But, that’s not correct.

Because you have to understand that it is not everyone would like what you sell.

Say you sell grilled snails or chicken, you have to understand that it’s not everyone would like grilled snails or chicken.

The best way is to target 2000 persons who fit into your customer avatar, as against 20,000 persons, who don’t.

If you target 2000 interested people, you’d be making more sales because they already have an interest in the things you sell, you only need to make them an enticing offer to complete the deal.

PS: You can do a broad targeting when you’re testing out your products. In this case, you are not looking out to make sales immediately but to test your audience or your products. But if you are looking for a direct response system, then you have to focus on those who are interested already.

Facebook AD Creative.

Your Facebook AD Creatives are the pictures or videos that your viewers see from the front end…

It’s important to catch the attention of your audience with your Facebook ADs creative because the human attention level keeps decreasing.

This means that you need something to catch their attention for a few seconds.

Something that would make them want to see what you are offering.

This is because, when people are on social medial apps, they are not there to buy anything or to even see ads.

They just want to have fun and connect with friends and family.

So, it is important to have a way to draw their attention to your advert.

Advert creatives are basically in two ways on Facebook and Instagram.

  • Single or Multiple collections of Pictures.
  • Single or Multiple Collections of videos.

Keep it simple and catchy. Don’t overcomplicate things by trying to squeeze everything into one picture or video.

You can always do this on the sales page.

Also, your primary text is very important. You have to also catch the attention of your target audience through your primary text.

Your primary text is the text you write to attract your viewers.

It has to be direct and evoke the right emotions.

Writing an unnecessary boring essay will bore your audience, and in no time, they are off.

Just write out the key benefits of your products, and how they will help your target audience.

Remember, always sell the benefits. People buy solutions.

PS: You can write long copies. Especially if you are in the production description section. But always remember to focus more on the benefits of your products to your audience. Remember, people only buy solutions.

The Product.

Your products have to be important to your audience to make a good return. This goes back to get your right audience from the very first point I made earlier.

If you carried out proper research on your audience, then getting the right product becomes much easier.

Most importantly, your product has to have some wow factors and benefits for your audience.

Your Offers.

In the art of marketing, offers are everything.

You have to make people an offer they can’t refuse.

This is because your offer is more important than your products.

People want to think they are getting the best value out there.

The best way to convey value is through offers.

You should have to, through your offers, show your audience why they should buy from you instead of your competitors.

Say you sell a pair of shoes for $100

Your competitors sell for the same $100

So, you both have the same price point for the same product.

The buyer has the decision to make, you or your competitor.

Now, if you did combo sales, or you added a supplementary product to your offer, you’d offer more value than your competitors.

Say you offer the same shoe with a free shoe spray and/or free delivery. You will be offering more value.

What if you offered more assurance, better quality, or a guarantee?

Or even a cash-back guarantee.

Guess, who’s getting the deal closed?

Yes. You.

You’d win.

Clear AD Call to Action.

Your call to action is the main thing you want your viewers to do after seeing your advert.

Do you want them to click on a link? Say it.

Do you want them to join a seminar?

Say it.

Do you want them to make a purchase?

You say it.

You have to be very clear about what you want your audience to do.

This will give you better results.

Bonus Point.

Facebook AD Spend.

Let’s face it, this is a proper business now.

Facebook is in the business of bidding.

So, they serve the ads of the highest bidder.

This does not mean you will see no results without spending huge amounts of money.

It is not a coincidence that I brought this down here.

Even though you have to spend a fairly reasonable amount of money to see great results, you still need to have the above points properly fixed.

If you fix other steps correctly, then you will notice that you will make more sales through your ads without having to break the bank.

This does not mean that you will be getting the same results as someone who’s spending $1000/day when you are spending $100/day.

But, if the $1k person doesn’t have a properly targeted audience, a decent ad creative, primary text and clear CTA with a proper set-up, their ads will most likely suffer.

He or she doesn’t target the right audience interested in their products.

He or she doesn’t make good offers or have a good product that aligns with the audience’s needs.

Then, they will just be wasting money without any sales. In this case, you, on your $100/day ad spend will gross more sales.

Throwing in money isn’t just all there is to creating a converting advert, a huge amount of money won’t make an ad with a bad set-up to convert.

PS: If you did the right things with a #10k ad spend, you will be very fine too. This instance doesn’t mean you shouldn’t promote your products with a reasonable amount.
